Next you need a Flight simulator joystick, or a yoke, you don’t want anything that moves around randomly, and you want it to turn on a full 360 degree axis, also look for an analog throttle, which allows you to control the speed of your engine(s).

If you want to go all out, you can get a setup like the Logitech G940 Force Feedback, that has a set of pedals throttle control and joystick, with this setup you will have it all. Another thing to keep in mind is that you will want as many programming options as you can get for your joystick.

Flight simulator joysticks can cost you anywhere from 20 to 400 dollars. You should make sure that the simulator joystick you purchase comes with a warranty. Try several different simulator joysticks out to determine which is the most comfortable for you.

However, before you buy a joystick, you should be sure that the one you select is efficient, easy to use and compatible with your setup.

That does not mean that you should not buy your Flight simulator joystick online, but if possible you should go to a store to try out different systems first.

Thrustmaster is another well-known manufacturer of joysticks and PC gaming devices. They utilized the HOTAS system for computer flight simulation games and they have licensing agreements with prestigious brands like Ferrari, Splinter Cell, Top Gun and others.
